Hi there, I agree, Declan will never be forgotten! He was a very special little boy whot touched so many peoples lives and his legacy will live on and on and on though everything you and others do. PS. I quite like the name The girl's name Cailin which pronounced KAY-lin. It is of Gaelic origin, and the meaning of Cailin is "girl, lass". Possibly a contemporary variant of Cailean (Scottish). See also Kaylin. Just a thought... Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share something very special with you. Earlier this week we were travelling to work (still dark outside) and we observed and commented on the beautiful full moon.It was set on and shown off by the deepest blue/black sky and the whole scene was spectacular. Then a thought popped into my head - the moon is actually always full. We sometimes see its fullness and then at other times, depending on the day of the moons cycle, we only see half of it or sometimes when it is really waning, only a sliver. Is this not comforting when we think back at those dark days when our Dec passed away? We, wrapped in our grief, only saw a tiny sliver of God's face and His goodness and favour. Some of us saw none of it - a total eclipse!! Yet, looking at that moon, I was reminded that God's fullness and greatness and goodness is ALWAYS full, despite how we feel. Hey! I had a pep in my step the whole day after this. Next time I am heartbroken or have shattered dreams or disappointments, I will remember that behind what I see, is a FULL picture! The end :-)

Dearest Gillian and Daryl and Granny Wendy (and all the rest of Declan's family) - my heart will be with you this weekend...Declan will never, ever be forgotten - he has touched so many people's lifes for the better and you as his family are keeping his memory alive every single moment of every single day...Take a deep breath and take one little step at a time..I love the name Kyra, with Erin as a second name...and the point of having two names is that moms and dads can put a lot more emotion into two names then one "KYRA ERIN, Why have you given Peanuts your broccoli"....Sending lots of love for this weekend and thinking of you and Declan, today and every day...Lots of prayers to all the monster fighters and their families...Lots of love
Linda-Maree

Thank you so much for the update, I just love hearing from you. I love the names you have so far chosen, especially the second name Erin. I am sure it must be hard for you both, on the one hand you are so happy and excited for your precious bundle to arrive and on the other hand it must bring back so many memories of Dec. I pray for you both everyday and I know Dec is always looking down on his very special parents. Good luck with the baby room and even if there is pink everywhere, Declan will never be gone or forgotten, he is with you always in all the blessings in your lives. Lots of love always

I read your update with a big lump in my throat. No one that hasnt gone through what you have, will understand what you must be going through. But just find peace in the fact that there are so many people praying for you and so many people who have benefitted from what you have done. Declan has already told his little sister all about you guys and he has told her what wonderful people you are, and your little girl will be so sound in Declan's old room, because she will just feel his presence around her all the time. Your choice of names are just beautiful and i am sure, which ever name you choose for her will be just perfect and as beautiful as she is going to be. Stay strong and take care.

Gill, i wouldn't be to worried about the 15kg you've picked up. i picked up 40kg during my pregnancy and i have lost it all. Then again carrying a 4kg baby requires some weight gain. Congrats on the little lady. I'm sure she will bring so much joy and happiness and I'm sure she will be very proud of the big way her brother has touched the hearts of a lot of people around the world. Good Luck for the weekend. I will be keeping you in my prayers.
